doctor reports

Maddox had his developmental testing and speech evaluation yesterday...He has significant delays in certain areas and is over the bar in others. They do not think he has autism..(sigh of relief here) they think he needs some therapies to get him caught up and they told us we need to be more structured and 'school-like' at home...I can do that:)..They also said only 30mins of tv per day for him..ouch....thats going to be hard on us all...but we can do it..We are so relieved that its nothing more than some delays...he can catch up..hes smart enough..rotten lil booger.lol..

just a day

good day today, maddox actually ate all his meals in his chair at the table.. and day 2 of no daytime binky, woohoo go us! NOT EASY THOUGH, its been rough. took a great 2 hour nap after lunch, becky took off early ang took the kids home with her and i went and got groceries. it was just a day

swimming

adysen stayed home with her mom today, so me and maddox went out to Terras to swim. He is too funny. He was so happy the whole time, no screaming, no fits..he loves the water, he would float around in his life jacket and kick his feet, just laughing and laughing, he would climb up on the ladder and jump off, he only choked on the water once and went under tons of times.kelby swims like a fish, she spends more time under water than she does above it. i couldnt get over how well they played together today...i made spaghetti and salad for dinner and it was good. im so tired from being in the sun today, and prolly from the 6 loads of laundry i did this morning...hope tomorrow is a laid back lazy day:)

splash zone

went to splash zone on thursday, it was such a great, cheap, place to take the kids, except my poor sweet ady. she doesnt care for water much but she told me she wanted to go..she had no fun at all, and wouldnt get in the water. and skint her knee walking around the lounge chairs. maddox on the other hand, had a ball, the deeper it was the more he seemed t loved it, he wore his puddle jumper life jacket and would kick his feet and put his face in the water, he got stung by a bee or something while we were having lunch and he cried and cried after getting some meds on it and some tylenol down him he took a little nap, when he woke up he was full speed to the water again...very tiring day.. will definately take maddox back, on a day when im not keeping ady.

storytime live

we had big plans today! storytime live in little rock! i drove, i dont really like to drive and dont much but i needed to so i mapquested the directions and off i went, and thankfully i had no problem! maddox,however, was a problem, he didnt care at al for the big crowd long lines and loud noises with bright light effects..way too much stimulation for him, i shouldve known but thought he would love it, this kid LOVES tv...so we get home and he hits the bed watches tv and chills out for awhile he fell asleep when i was making dinner and woke up screaming and continued to for about an hour...finally, thankfully he was happy again. tomorrow-splash zone... hope he enjoys it more than this.
